”growing up bahay kubo was always sung around the house by my dad in order to teach me tagalog. the bahay kubo song hits close to home of childhood memories singing it with him. down to drawing this same exact scene when he taught me how to draw on actually paper and not the living room walls. I’ve teamed up with our family at @anaktoykompany, who creates children’s educational wooden puzzle toys, to help us recreate this childhood experience for parents to sing along with their children to keep this folk song alive throughout the years. and to have an interactive puzzle scene for kids to learn some tagalog words as well.”
